Boyz, Boyz, Boyz.

Hi Can't believe where the months go, time again for the monthly Clarity challenge.I tried a few designs before I was happy, I like the black and white of this one very masculine I thought.

Method
I took a piece of Gelli card from Clarity and inked up the blending mat with black soot distress ink, spritzed with water and then put the card onto this picking up the ink.
Allowed this to dry and stamped the LIVE, LAUGH, LOVE into the corner with black archival and  embossed  with detail clear embossing powder.
I the wrapped twine around this and mounted it onto black card, mounted again onto an 8x8 card blank.
Agin using a small piece of gelli card I stencilled the Clarity fish design using black soot distress ink.
This was then mounted onto black card and the onto apiece of Zentangled card I had previously been working on. I like the two together.
Finally adding this to the card with sticky pads.
Hope you like it?

  6. What a great card Pearl. I love the monochrome look and all the different techniques you've included. I think you've made the fish look quite mean and moody here, but I like it! Thanks for entering the Clarity challenge, and good luck. Xxx
